More personally… Hi!
I plan to use this blog primarily for mental health related topics, with some travel, creative writing/book reviews mixed in. I am an addictions counselor at an inpatient rehabilitation center, which I think has helped me overcome a lot of my anxiety, but it still flares up from time to time. My hope is that this blog may help at least one person who has also struggled with some mental health issues.
I’ve also recently started a Relational Trauma Support Group on Facebook. It’s closed, so as to be private, but please do join and I’ll approve you if you think you could benefit and would like to join a community of understanding people who have been there.
