Natalie is a nature/animal lover, world traveler, water nymph, feminist, writer, and mental health professional. She obtained her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Slippery Rock University, doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University, and is now an Assistant Professor in a Counseling and Development program (training master’s level therapists/counselors). She grew up in and around Chicago but now resides near Pittsburgh. Her poetry can be found in Three Line Poetry.
More personally… Hi!
I plan to use this blog primarily for mental health related topics, with some travel, creative writing/book reviews mixed in. I overcame debilitating anxiety, but it still flares up from time to time. My hope is that this blog may help at least one person who has also struggled with mental health issues.
